Speedway at the Ace - 11th Aug 2019
By John Hyam

The Ace Cafe is still going strong and attracting plenty of customers, especially on their 'Themed Days'. Various events are held at the Cafe including Harley Days, BMW Days. American Car Days and now they are going to stage their first ever "Speedway at The Ace" Day on Sunday 11th August 2019.

The World Speedway Riders' Association will run a Speedway Day at the Ace. It should be a great day with bikes from different eras and displays showing all the London clubs and more. There will be no racing but hopefully the sights and sounds of Japs and Jawas will fill the air around the North Circular once again.

The Ace Cafe will be open all day serving everything from a full breakfast to a bacon roll and everything in between, so no-one will go hungry. The juke box is still there blasting out the hits but don't expect anyone to try to race around the North Circular on Speedway bikes to try to "beat the record"....Remember,...No Brakes!

Speedway At The Ace, Sunday, August 11, 2019, from 10am onwards. At Ace Cafe, Ace Corner, North Circular Road, Stonebridge, London, NW10 7UD.
