Dream Team : Ken Morgan

I was taken to Somerton Park in 1965 to see speedway at the age of 7 and have supported the Wasps ever since, but during the wilderness years was tempted to Swindon !

Amazing, it was a revelation for a Newport Wasps fan to have a rider in the team you knew would beat the opposite number one home and away. I remember him blasting round Swindon in 1975 head below handle bars down the straights. Awesome !

Neil Street
He was able to pop out the gate and beat anybody on his night.

Craig Watson
His blasts from the back at home and away are inspiring, leads from the front.

reidar eide
Not Australian ! I remember the golden helmet clashes and one memorable one where he blasted past Ole Olsen at Somerton Park! Sadly no longer with us.

Frank Smart
There's a pattern here..another Aussie, truly a rider worth the admission money alone, defies belief in his riding at times..a spectacle

Gote Nordin
The first great at newport...

Anders Henrikssson
Seemed to be a fixture at Newport for the first few seasons, reliable..often unbeatable at home
