Dream Team : Karen Tapper

I've been following this fantastic sport for almost 30 years now and just can't get enough of it! Having been brought up in Devon and supporting Exeter, I then moved to Swindon but the Falcons have always been my number one team. Back in devon now but unfortunately without the Falcons.

Ivan Mauger
Wow what a rider he was. Very early memories of him riding at the County Ground. A great servant to the sport.

Mark Loram
Another Exeter asset. Britain's most recent world champion and no other British rider has got that close since then.

Jimmy Nilsen
A great rider to watch and gave 100% every time. Always great entertainment value for his loyal fans.

Tomasz Gollob
Had a memorable first year in the GP series all those years ago. He has really settled down and quite rightly earned his current world ranking by being an all round rider.

Simon Wigg
Rode for team and country and always gave 100% effort every time both on speedway and grasstrack. The sport lost a fantastic rider but his memory lives on.

Chris Harris
Great to watch this gutsy rider. No gap is too small for him to glide through. Famous for being slow at the start, but you always see him first at the chequered flag after four laps of riding his heart out.

Paul Fry
His enthusiasm for the sport shows in his style of riding. A well liked and respected team member. Nothing is too much trouble and still racing his heart out today like he was 20 years ago.
